Because every child has the right to a safe space to express their dreams and aspirations, our field teams continued to provide psychosocial support to children in the most vulnerable areas.

With generous funding and support from UNICEF and the US government, Youth in Action (YAO) implemented a remarkable activity to distribute psychosocial support equipment and tools to children in the Kadir district – Kulugi area (Al-Khor section) in South Kordofan State.

Activity Focus and Field Impact:

• Distribution of art expression tools: The equipment included interactive whiteboards and drawing boards, providing children with a free space to release their energy and express their feelings through drawing and writing.

• Group psychosocial support sessions: The activity brought together dozens of children in a safe and stimulating interactive environment, supervised by our field teams, to help them overcome stress and regain a sense of stability and positive interaction with their peers.

Supporting children’s mental health is fundamental to building their resilience and recovery. Many thanks to our partners at UNICEF and the US government for their continued commitment, and a salute of pride to our field teams who are creating hope step by step.
