As part of strengthening field partnerships and supporting the stability of the educational process, Youth in Action (YAO) was honored to receive an important field visit from Mr. Sheldon Yett, UNICEF Representative in Sudan, to closely observe the progress of joint educational projects.
Highlights of the visit:
- Messages of Hope and Motivation: Mr. Yett met with students in the schoolyard and delivered encouraging words, emphasizing the importance of persevering in education and continuing the learning journey despite all the challenges and surrounding circumstances.
- Distribution of School Supplies: In a joyful atmosphere, Mr. Yett and the field teams participated in distributing school bags and educational materials provided by UNICEF to primary school students, ensuring they have the necessary tools for their academic success.
The field presence of our partners reflects the depth of our shared commitment to childhood issues and education. We at Youth in Action appreciate this supportive visit, and we affirm our continued efforts alongside UNICEF to ensure that no child is deprived of their basic right to education and a stimulating school environment.
